What is our vision? We envision a world in which people listen to and respect others’ views, in which ideas and feelings are communicated honestly and with clarity, and where the “soft skills” of human communication are considered the hardest but most important, for people...
in the family,
in the workplace,
in the civic arena,
around the world.
How do we move toward our vision?
by helping people to build effective communication skills – affirming, asserting and accommodating;
by visiting other people’s worlds, across town or across the world;
by grappling with economic justice and environmental justice issues that pull us apart;
by using music to enable those disabled by dementia to reconnect with others.
